Our Mission

The Black Supper Society brings people together through food, conversation, and community. We curate intimate culinary experiences that connect Black creatives, spark meaningful relationships, and open doors to real opportunity, while honoring the flavors, memories, and traditions we grew up with.

We nourish hearts, support creatives, and make sure our people always have a seat at the table.

Our Philosophy

Before anything else, we start with heart.
These values guide every table we set, every meal we share, and every person we welcome in.

Community First — Creatives at the Center

The Black Supper Society was created for us — the storytellers, dreamers, builders, and believers.
We exist to hold space for Black creatives to feel seen, valued, and supported. Every gathering is intentionally designed to foster belonging, connection, and genuine care because when community thrives, creativity flourishes.

Nourishing Bonds Through Food & Shared Moments

Food is our love language. We believe in slow dinners, deep conversation, and the kind of culinary moments you remember and talk about for years. Our tables are safe spaces to exhale, laugh, cry, and truly connect, nourishing both the body and the soul.

Elevating Black Creativity & Expanding Opportunity

This goes far beyond dinner. Our mission is to open doors, create opportunities, and make sure Black creatives have more than just hope — but an actual seat at the table. Whether through resources, mentorship, collaboration, or visibility, we are committed to investing back into our community and building pathways forward.

Giving Back When It Matters Most

We believe community means showing up, especially in seasons of need. The Black Supper Society is committed to supporting Black creatives through practical care, resources, and connection, whether that looks like groceries, creative support, mentorship, or simply being a listening ear. We pour back into the people who pour so much into the world, because no creative should have to carry it all alone.
